Veteran Punjabi Singer Sardool Sikander Passes Away At 60, Industry Pays Tribute
Sardool Sikander, who was a veteran Punjabi singer, aged 60, has passed away in a private hospital in Mohali. The singer was recently diagnosed with Coronavirus and was admitted to the hospital to undergo treatment for the same. He had diagnosed with other several health issues like damaged kidney, uncontrolled blood-sugar and multi-organism failure during the treatment in the hospital.

The news of his demise went like a jerk in the entire entertainment industry. Not only just Pollywood but Bollywood and the ministerial department also pay tribute to him. From Punjab CM Capt. Amarinder Singh, Bollywood’s music director Vishal Dadlani to Harshdeep Kaur, Neeru Bajwa, Kuljit Nagra and others posted their deep condolence for Sardool Sikander and his family.






For the unversed, the Punjabi singer Sardool Sikander is known for his songs ‘Ek charkha gali de wich dha laya’ and ‘Sanu ishq brandi char gayi’. In the early 1980s, the singer appeared first in radio and television. His album ‘Roadways di Laari’ was a great hit. His father, late Sagar Mastana was a very popular Tabla player.
